I bought this for myself to wear in bed while watching TV. It can get chilly here in Oregon. It's just what I expected a hooded zip sweatshirt to be. Warm and cozy and it washes great. The price was a bonus at about half what others charge.

This is a typical light-weight sweatshirt. It's just like any other basic sweat-shirt you could buy from any major chain store, i.e. Target or WalMart. From the other reviews I was expecting it to be more substantial and the fabric to be softer. I am disappointed. The zipper is very sturdy but the fleece material is not a high-quality fabric.

Thin Material, But Perfect Nonetheless Nov 25, 2008

My husband bought this for himself (couldn't beat the price), thinking that "fleece" referred to polyester fleece--the soft, fuzzy stuff--but after he got over his initial disappointment, realized that a thinner, cotton fleece was more of what he wanted anyway. I see him wear it over just about everything...it's a good layer over other things, especially if one gets hot easily. It is a little short (doesn't make it to his hips like in photo) but the chest fits true to size large.

I really like this sweatshirt. It's well made but a lighter material when you don't need a heavy one. So it works well when you want to add layers. I purchased another one from Cabela's and this one is higher quality. It has better elastic in the waist and sleeves. The zipper is good but probably could be better. And you have to be careful about pulling the draw string out of the hood. But I would buy another one again.

For the price, this is great. However, it runs a tad small and isn't as thick as more expensive sweatshirts.
