Short Straps Feb 18, 2009
By Mr. Toad I run about 6'-3", 250, so I bought this pack because it is much wider than the typical backpack. It would be wide enough to make me look less silly if only I could get it on. Even adjusted all the way out the shoulder straps are ridiculously short. I would say this should go in the kids section, not the men's section.
Apart from this, the bag is of quality manufacture and looks sharp. I'm keeping it around to give to my kid for school - he'll have the coolest bookbag around.

Great product, but if you get it you have to know it doesn't works under rain because of the fabrique. Pockets with zipper are not really zipped.

Rucksack review Feb 10, 2009
By Trashman Lee The main reason I bought this was because the advertisement stated it had zippered pockets. IT DOES NOT. Small items placed in these pockets will easily fall out if rucksack is tipped onto side. It is a very heavy duty well constructed canvas rucksack but IT DOES NOT HAVE ZIPPERED POCKETS as advertised.

Didn't hold up well Sep 24, 2010
By dperry I bought this backpack for my son and a week after school started the metal tabs at the end of the straps had fallen off, which means every time he puts it on the adjustable straps do not stay in place and he ends up having to carry it rather then wear it on his back. The straps also are now completely unraveled and this backpack is useless less then a month into the school year, we have already had to purchase a new backpack.

Great and durable. Oct 18, 2010
By Timothy We picked this item up June 9th, the same time we had purchased a canteen and shoulder-sling. This Black Canvas Outfitter
Rucksack works well for us. Our little hiking trips to the mountains during the summer - we found this item to be just right
for our needs. It is very durable and fits us well and we are 6'1" 195lbs.
We were not looking for anything waterproof. We were not looking for zippered compartments. This is what we were looking for.
Everything we need to take along with us, finds itself easily in one of the clasp closure compartments. Extra shirts, and an
entire change of clothing for our daughter - dresses, underclothes, socks, and shoes. Natural insect repellant, and medicine
all fit very nicely inside this dependable and durable sack. (It holds two pair of shoes, two shirts, 2 dresses for the
daughter, 2 dresses for the wife, underthings for the daughter all very comfortably.)
It may not suit everyone the same as it does for us, but if you want something durable, not waterproof, and no zippers this
might just suit you well. Read up on the description of the product, and judge for youself. Do not go entirely upon everything
you read - that is to say the reviews. Again, this may or may not work for you. You make the choice. We can recommend it, only
if you are doing some hiking, bikinng, &c like we use it. If that is the case then you may have found the right pack for you.
